Software Product Named Teleworx will Put the Focus of Government Telework on Productivity; Providing the Ease-of-Use Civil Servants Want along with the Accountability Leaders Need
Sterling, VA – December 12, 2024 – Intelliworx, a provider of workflow and process automation software, announced today the launch of Teleworx, a telework management solution for government agencies. Teleworx will enable agencies to get a handle on the entire telework process – from identifying eligible positions to ensuring the accountability of telework employees. This will streamline the process of applying, reviewing, approving, reporting and re-certifying telework applications in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
“More and more government work is being done online through websites, apps, chats and other digital channels,” said Intelliworx CEO Rob Hankey. “So, it just makes sense that a significant part of the federal workforce is online too – but leaders still need accountability and Teleworx can help assuage such concerns without adding an administrative burden.”
Teleworx features and benefits
Federal agencies have two use cases for teleworking. The first is the continuity of operations in an emergency – and the second is the post-pandemic cultural transition toward remote work. Teleworx supports both use cases and the regulations governing each one, that is, the ‘intelligence’ is embedded in the software which helps ensure compliance.
Some of the key features include the following:
- Position management shows which positions are eligible for telework;
- Interview style wizard breaks down complicated forms into simple steps;
- Review and approval workflow ensures all requisite stakeholders have visibility;
- Automated notifications of pending deadlines or actions required;
- Reporting of total numbers of personnel eligible, approved and engaged in telework; and
- Automated alerts that trigger recertification as required for example (i.e. annually).
The overall benefit of Teleworx removes the administrative burden of managing a telework program while maintaining compliance and providing reporting data for responsible oversight. This enables civil servants and the government to focus their attention on their agency’s mission and serving the country.
Built-in data integration
It’s worth noting that integration is also a central tenet of all Intelliworx products. In this case, telework data can be integrated with data from other systems an agency is using. For example, integration between Teleworx and performance management systems would provide convincing data as to the effect telework and hybrid work environments have on productivity.
“The federal government experimented with telework as far back as the 1930s so the concept is not a new one by any stretch,” Hankey added. “Yet to date, measures of production are largely absent from many of the arguments for and against telework; Teleworx aims to offer a tool capable of changing that.”
Performance record and demo requests
Teleworx is the newest application Intelliworx has built on top of the Intelliworx cloud-based platform. Other applications include Application Management and Financial Disclosure. The platform is FedRAMP-authorized and Intelliworx software solutions are authorized for use and has been implemented by 40 different federal agencies with tens of thousands of end users.
Government agencies are welcome to request a no-obligation demo or sign up for our weekly email newsletter to stay in touch.
