Rural healthcare struggles to attract and retain providers; Intelliworx helps solve this challenge by streamlining the processes of talent acquisition and staff retention

1. The Annual AAPPR Conference titled, “Advancing Connections”
The Association for Advancing Physician and Provider Recruitment (AAPPR) hosts an annual conference that brings together hundreds of healthcare attendees, speakers and exhibitors. This year the event is being held in Virginia Beach and offers professional development, educational sessions, networking, inspiration and access to leading healthcare suppliers.

2. The 2024 ASHHRA Annual Conference and Exposition
The American Society for Healthcare Human Resources Administration (ASHHRA) is the “longest-running event for healthcare HR professionals,” according to the organizers. The annual conference is being held in Fort Worth, Texas this year. Attendees can “expect dynamic keynote speakers, innovative breakout sessions, engaging networking activities,” among other professional activities.

“From our perspective, the rural healthcare community is an underserved market that genuinely needs help from technology providers,” added Hankey. “It’s not just that rural America is getting older, which tends to come with more serious and chronic health conditions, it’s that many of the providers in this area are also reaching the age of retirement and leaving the workforce even as the overall talent pool shrinks.”
